Dr Kate Pettifer (She / Her)

Kate is an Educator Developer working to develop and deliver teaching and learning in Higher Education as part of the university's LTHE  programme (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education programme).

Originally from a Business and Economics background Kate moved into the Education field over 15 years ago as a qualified secondary school teacher. She was responsible for the delivery of Business, Economics and Law courses. Kate was also responsible for her school's collaborations with industry, examinations process and SEN support. Kate recently made the transition into Higher Education after completing a Professional Doctorate in Education. Her research focus was the future of the workplace and skills development and provision in Secondary Education.

Whilst, at the University of Exeter, Kate have been primarily focused with the delivery of the LTHE programme, the revamping of the Eduexe Toolkit and skills provision in Higher Education.
