About this course:

This course is for staff (reviewees) who want to get the most out of the PDR process.

Your PDR is an important part of your career planning process in which you need to consider what it is that you want to get out of the process and plan accordingly.

This course will provide an overview of how you, as a reviewee, can get involved in your PDR, from starting the process off, being proactive throughout, using feedback positively to understanding how to develop your objectives, so that you go into PDR conversations prepared.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Describe the purpose of PDRs.

- Explain the Roles and Responsibilities of those involved in the process.

- Apply techniques to ensure feedback is used constructively.

- Identify, set and review SMART objectives.
