Course Overview: This one-hour session will provide information on peri-menopause and menopause and an opportunity to consider the potential impact of the condition on work.

It will cover what support and resources are available to support those with the condition and what managers can do to support colleagues at work.

Sessions will include a short presentation on the condition covering signs and symptoms, the potential impact on work activities, and possible reasonable adjustments to support colleagues at work.

It will include the opportunity for discussion and to share best practice.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the session you will have a better awareness of: - the signs and symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause - how we can promote a positive approach to managing menopause at work - how symptoms can impact on work - what reasonable adjustments and practical support can be put in place to support women with menopause symptoms - resources and self-help guidance

Who should attend this course:

This session is aimed at all colleagues and managers who want to know more about symptoms of menopause and how they can be managed.

It will provide managers with information on how they can support those with symptoms at work.
