Bitesize Learning: Menopause and Women's Health at Work

Course Overview: This one-hour session will provide information on menopause and other women's health conditions and provide an opportunity to consider the potential impact of these conditions on work and work on health.

It will cover what resources are available to support those with the conditions and what managers can do to support colleagues at work.

Sessions will include a short presentation on the conditions covering signs and symptoms, the potential impact on work activities and work on health, and possible reasonable adjustments to support colleagues at work.

It will include the opportunity for discussion and to share best practice.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the session you will have a better understanding of: - the signs and symptoms of menopause and other women's health conditions.

- how we can promote a positive approach to managing menopause and women's health at work.

- how symptoms can impact on work, and health on work.

- what reasonable adjustments and practical support can be put in place to support women with symptoms.

- resources and self-help guidance.

Audience:

This session is aimed at all colleagues and managers who want to know more about symptoms of menopause and how they can be managed.

It will provide managers with information on how they can support those with symptoms at work.
