About this course:

Valuable and well-delivered feedback strengthens teams by confirming successful methods and constructively developing those aspects that can be improved.

In line with the University's People Strategy, this programme has been established to support staff to thrive, be fulfilled and reach their potential through the skills associated with both giving and receiving positive and developmental feedback.


This course draws on key models in order to present optimum ways to work collaboratively, to both give feedback in a valuable, helpful and meaningful way, as well as preparing participants to receive feedback in a way that promotes maximum personal development.

Both sides of the same conversation form a fundamental component of creating safe, professional and progressive workplace dynamics.


Through the core aspect of practice, participants will be given the opportunity to work through their own scenarios, receiving real-time and direct feedback whilst simultaneously being given the chance to adapt and improve their approach.

-Explored, in a practical way, the impact of delivering feedback with and without structure.

-Explored, using your personal experience, how as a manager you can drive the way you structure and deliver your feedback.
