People Management: Managing Change

Description

Theme:

Leadership and management.

Category:

People Management.

Course overview:

In today's fast-moving and uncertain environment, effective change management is an essential skill.

This session provides a practical introduction to key change management models and frameworks, helping participants understand how change impacts individuals, teams, and organisations.

Participants will explore the emotions people experience during change, including the causes of resistance and how managers can respond with empathy and confidence.

The session also examines strategies for building adaptability and resilience, enabling teams to navigate disruption and maintain performance during periods of transition.

Recognising that managers are often required to act without having all the answers, the session will equip participants with techniques for leading through ambiguity, communicating effectively when information is incomplete, and creating trust and engagement throughout the change process.
