Aspiring Managers: Team Dynamics and Collaboration
| Description | Course Overview: High-performing teams do not happen by chance. This session explores the dynamics that shape effective teamwork, helping participants understand different team roles, how individuals contribute to collective success, and the importance of collaboration in achieving shared goals. Participants will also examine the risks of groupthink and unconscious biases, learning practical strategies to encourage diverse perspectives, improve decision-making, and build more inclusive, innovative, and resilient teams.
Learning outcomes: * Explain key factors that contribute to high-performing teams * Identify team roles and their contribution to collective success * Apply strategies to reduce groupthink and encourage diverse perspectives Audience: Colleagues who want to strengthen their effectiveness in their current role, or prepare for future management opportunities.
Pre-work Requisites: This module is available to be taken as a standalone session, or as part of our wider Aspiring Managers Programme.
