About this course:

This briefing session introduces attendees to Cost Recovery and Contribution to Full Economic Costing (FEC) within Worktribe budgets for Research Grant Applications, and provides them with some explanations of commonly used terms and tips on how to maximise Cost Recovery and Contribution to Full Economic Costing (FEC).

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand the definitions of commonly used terms.

- Understand where to find Faculty targets for Cost Recovery and Contribution to Full Economic Costing.

- Understand where these figures are shown on Worktribe.

- Recognise which funders to target for improved Cost Recovery and Contribution to Full Economic Costing.

- Gain tips to improve Cost Recovery and Contribution to FEC to improve chances of Approval for submission.

Who should attend this course:

The course is specifically designed Research active staff and would be particularly useful to Early Career Researchers preparing a research application, to new starters to the University preparing a research application and to any academic who is creating a research grant budget for an application and would like a fuller understanding of Cost Recovery and Contribution to Full Economic Costing.
