7) Saving content

 Once you have made amends to the content of the page, there are several saving states that can be viewed by hovering over the dropdown arrow next to the update button:

• Update: this will save your changes but will keep the content pending and not publish it out to the live site.
• Update and Approve: chose this option when you are happy with the page content and want it to go live. (If you do not see this option in the dropdown menu then a workflow is in place. Please just select update and an administrator will approve your changes.)
• Save as draft: if you have not finished editing a page and would not like the changes to go live.
• Check the status column on the content page to see whether your content status is approved, draft or pending. Only approved content will be published on the live site.
• It can take up to 4 hours for approved content to go live.
