Student Employment Fair

The Student Employment Fair provides students with a chance to meet face to face with employers promoting their part-time jobs, ‘casual’ roles, and internships.

We look forward to welcoming a range of employers, representing a variety of sectors, back to our Streatham campus for this popular fair.

The fair is promoted to University of Exeter students across all years and disciplines.

Please note: this fair is not suitable for promoting volunteering opportunities or unpaid/chargeable roles.

You can view the full details and book onto the Student Employment Fair via Handshake.

Please note: if you haven’t done so already, you will need to set up your Handshake account and connect with the University of Exeter to be able to access the event details and booking form.

You will need to click ‘register’ to start the booking process. If you are an agency, you must book under the client’s name and record.

Exhibitor rates

Standard rate: £245 + VAT
(applies to most companies unless a special rate is listed below)

Agency rate: £355 + VAT
(for all recruitment agencies and job portals)

Charity rate: £100 + VAT
(all registered charities recruiting to paid positions only)

Please note

  • Due to high demand for this event, we recommend submitting your booking form promptly.
  • We limit the number of spaces available to recruitment agencies and jobs portals.
  • Limited spaces are available for those who are eligible for our discounted rate and are allocated at our discretion.

What's included

  • A stand space (2.5m width x 2m depth approx.) - only suitable for slim (roll-up) banner stands. Please be aware if you bring a larger stand, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to display it.
  • One table (1.5m width x 0.55m depth x 0.74m height) and two chairs.

WIFI access.

  • An electrical point.
  • Lunch for two exhibitors.*
  • Tea, coffee, water and importantly, biscuits, are available to exhibitors throughout the day.
  • One parking space depending on availability.

*Lunch: Two lunches are included with a fair booking. If more than two colleagues from your organisation attend the fair and require lunch, these will be subject to an additional charge. You are of course also welcome to purchase lunch from one of the outlets on campus, however this will not be covered by your fair attendance fee.

Payment information

  • You will be invoiced upfront before the fair date.
  • Any delays in providing accurate invoicing details may result in a processing fee of up to £30.

Cancellation must be received in writing. Please email studentemployment@exeter.ac.uk  by Sunday 11th January 2026 if you wish to cancel your booking.

If you cancel your booking after this date or do not attend the fair, regardless of reason, we reserve the right to request payment in full to cover incurred costs.
