Summer Recruitment Fair

Our Summer Recruitment Fair is an opportunity for companies from a range of sectors to promote:
- casual, part-time and summer work
- internships/vacation schemes
- year-in-industry placements
- graduate roles
- postgraduate study
A smaller event in comparison to our autumn careers fairs with up to 21 stands, the Summer Recruitment Fair provides an intimate opportunity to meet with approximately 400 current Exeter students.

The event is marketed to Exeter students from all years and disciplines, so you can expect those in the first year through to their final year to attend. Our graduates are also welcome.
Please note: This fair is not suitable for teaching agencies seeking to engage with our PGCE students, those looking to recruit nursing students or those offering volunteering opportunities or unpaid/chargeable internships. Companies offering paid-for services, with the exception of postgraduate courses, are also not permitted.

Exhibitor rates
Standard rate: £285 + VAT
(applies to most companies unless a special rate is listed below)
Agency rate rate: £340 + VAT
(all national recruitment agencies (based outside Devon, Cornwall and Somerset) and jobs portals )
Charity rate: £160 + VAT
(all registered charities recruiting to paid positions only)
Local SME rate - £85 + VAT
(all small and medium enterprises - 250 or fewer staff/less than £50million turnover - based exclusively in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset only)
Please note
- Due to high demand, we recommend submitting your booking form promptly.
- Spaces for recruitment agencies and graduate job portals (specialising in graduate recruitment only) are capped at three.
- Discounted rate places are limited and allocated at our discretion.
What's included
- A stand space (2.5m width x 1.5m depth approximately) - only suitable for slim (roll-up) banner stands
- One table (1.5m width x 0.55m depth x 0.74m height) and two chairs
- One electrical point
- Wifi access (note: bring a dongle if your laptop is encrypted)
- Lunch for two exhibitors (additional lunches available at extra cost)
- Tea, coffee, water and biscuits available throughout the day
- One parking space (subject to availability)
- Standard entry in our fair booklet
Payment information
- Invoices will be issued after the event.
- Please ensure invoicing details are accurate and complete; errors may incur a £100 processing fee.
- Credit card payments are not accepted.
The fair will take place at University of Exeter Forum, Stocker Road, Exeter, Devon EX4 4PZ.
The event will open to students from 11:00 to 14:00.
Access to the building is from 09:00 to 16:00.

Cancellation must be received in writing by emailing employer-events@exeter.ac.uk by the advertised deadline (details of this will be released once bookings open for our 2026 event).
Cancellations received after this date will result in the full cost being incurred. Failure to attend the fair, regardless of reason, will result in the full charge being levied.
