Targeted emails / E-shots
E-shots are a great way to promote your opportunities directly to our students. They can be used to advertise:
- Specific vacancies
- Graduate or internship programmes
- Events and open days
- Competitions
What you can include
- Text
- Simple graphics
- Hyperlinks
Please note: Complex graphics can sometimes be problematic. Attachments cannot be sent.

Targeting options
You can send your e-shot to:
- All students
- Specific year groups
- Selected colleges or departments – see our academic colleges and departments
If you’d like to target using other criteria, please get in touch. We cannot target based on gender, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Tip: Very specific criteria may result in small audiences. Contact us first for an estimate of numbers to ensure good value.
Important notes
- Emails cannot be sent to graduates.
- Only two targeted e-shots per week are sent during term time — book early to secure a slot.
- Payment must be made in advance by credit or debit card (we do not accept American Express).
