'The heart of the campus'
Welcoming Everyone
A very warm welcome to all new and returning students to the University of Exeter for the 2026/27 academic year. We at the Multifaith Chaplaincy hope you find the fun and peace in your studies, connections and wellbeing this next year - hoping to maybe see you along the way!
As always, we support University staff too. So if you're starting new or have been with us for years, feel welcome to explore our offerings.
On Friday 18th September, we invite you to join us for our Multifaith Chaplaincy Showcase Day for a taster of what we offer! Come see our space at the heart of Streatham campus and how we can be a place of respite for you during busy University life. We will have lots of snacks, hot and cold drinks and comfortable vibes; alongside a range of gentle activities like crafts and board games!
Separately in our Multifaith Room, our Multifaith Chaplains will be running some short faith-based sessions, such as reflection and meditation. This is for anyone to join from of any faith or none; this is our spiritual care we offer to all at the University.
Wishing the very best to you all this next year, a new chapter of experiences await!
With loving kindness,
Multifaith Chaplaincy team
Pastoral and Spiritual Support for all
We believe that all students and staff at the University of Exeter deserve time and care. Our chaplains are available throughout the week - no issue is too big or too small!
No! As the Multifaith Chaplaincy, we work together to serve the whole University community: students and staff, of all faiths and worldviews, whether religious or not.
We provide a safe space to talk, and offer you a confidential and non-judgmental listening ear. We are here to support you, to be available for you to share any concerns, to support wellbeing, and to provide a place where everyone can feel at home. We seek to create a community space on campus to relax, de-stress and simply 'be'.
We all have values that guide and shape our lives. We find and create meaning in different ways that allow us to develop our deeper identities. This might be through nature, religious and spiritual practices, or through connection with others and the world. Chaplains can help you explore your own sense of values, purpose and meaning, or support you in times of spiritual or existential difficulty.
Our Chaplains
To have a chat with one of our Chaplains, you can book a 'Time to Talk' slot, or get in touch with them directly on the Our Chaplains page.

Multifaith Chaplaincy Events
See our events page to find out what we put on through the year. Ranging from crafts, baking or just simple conversations; our regular events are designed for the community to make friends and recharge from University life. We then also have special one-off events; such as our Faith Spaces Walk, Christingles and Peace Circle which engages the wider University community.
