The Baptists are an orthodox Christian denomination that began in Europe more than 400 years ago. Baptists emphasise Jesus as Head of the Church and the freedom of all people to choose what to believe.
We see the local church as a gathered group of Christian believers who are all encouraged to use their talents to serve God and the world, and which has liberty to worship as Jesus leaders.
