Anglican / Church of England services and events

Who can attend?

All students and staff are welcome at our chapels, regardless of your background or belief. Our chapel community seeks to be inclusive, non-judgemental, compassionate and to offer a warm welcome to all – irrespective of creed, race, gender or sexuality.

Partners and families of students and staff are also very welcome at our Sanctuary Service at 7pm on Sundays in the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel on Streatham Campus.

Public services

Our services of Choral Evensong at 5pm on Wednesdays, and Choral Eucharist at 5pm on Sundays, are open to the public, and this may also be the case for some special services (this will be indicated on the service listing where applicable).

Do please come along if you've not been before – new people turn up throughout the academic year and we are always delighted to see you; you'll also have the opportunity to hear our wonderful Chapel Choir.

Choral Evensong and our Choral Eucharist service both take place in the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel on Streatham Campus.

When the services take place

Services in the chapels typically take place during term time only. Our Regular Services page shows the pattern of worship every week, and then Special Services lists events that take place outside of this, such as Remembrance, Christmas and Easter. If any services do take place outside term time, they will be listed on the Special Services page.
