Join us every Friday for a fun hour of activities and making new friends, a free hot drink and pastry. Last year we had over 5700 visits to cafe. So come and discover a whole new community of friends to connect with!

  (first 100 students only, last entry 11:00)

You don't have to book onto a session, just join in. Please bring your Unicard with you to sign in. Please arrive for the beginning of the session and stay to enjoy it with the group. Places are limited and so please prioritise staying for the whole session. Students and staff are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.

Friday 26 September	Speed Friending: human bingo Worried about starting conversations with new classmates and housemates? Come and practice and make some new friends at Intercultural Café with our fun speed friending game.
Friday 3 October	Culture Stars: Building connections, confidence and English language Join Emma Sweeney from the International Student Centre to talk about how we can communicate effectively across cultures in our new environment.
Friday 10 October	Board Games Come and join the International Student Experience team for a morning of board games. If you've got a favourite game, why not bring it along and teach it to the group?
Friday 17 October	Paint a Diya for Diwali  Shubh Diwali to all our students. Get in the mood for our campus celebrations on Sunday 19 October by painting a diya. Diya's and lights provided.
Friday 24 October	Your Career Joan Wright from the Career Zone will highlight some of the great careers support available to you as international students.  Play Strengths Rummy (card game) in small groups helping you to better identify your own strengths and find the best in you.
Friday 31 October	Badge-making for Halloween Come design your own Halloween badge and share a spooky story or make a fireworks scratch art.
Friday 7 November	Studying around the World Come and join the discussion about how studying experiences differ around the world. Hear about what development opportunities and support there are here at Exeter for you from some of our Academic Skills Advisors.
Friday 14 November	International Students Day Bunting Help us make some bunting for International Students Day. Design an image to represent your study abroad experience, what you are looking forward to seeing or have seen so far.
Friday 21 November	Disability Awareness Month Join Rose and Becky from the Students' Guild to look at themes from Disability Awareness Month.
Friday 28 November	What are you thankful for? Contribute to our thankfulness artwork of autumn leaves as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day.
Friday 5 December	Christmas and Christingle Making Join our Chaplaincy team to hear about Christian traditions of Christmas and join in one from the Moravian Church, Christingle!
Friday 12 December	Christmas Crafts Decorate a christmas ornament or create your very own christmas card with us.
