Mandatory tasks
- Attend your online Academic Induction sessions
- Complete online registration with the University
- Activate your IT account (see Welcome email)
- Prepare and submit your Student visa application
- Apply for your Unicard (see Welcome email)
- If you're in university accommodation, complete your online induction
- Complete Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training, including our Consent module
Recommended tasks
- Contact Wellbeing services for any additional support or to set up an Individual Learning Plan
- Join our Facebook group to meet other new students
- Start planning your activities for Welcome Week
- Follow our social media channels for updates
- If you're a mature student, find out about the mature student peer scheme under the 'Cross College Mature Student Mentoring Programme'
- Plan your travel to University
- Apply for an International Peer Mentor to help you settle into university life

- Open a UK bank account
- Complete Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training, including our Consent module
- Activate Multi-Factor Identification & Self Service Password Reset on your IT Account
- If you haven't already attend your online Academic Induction sessions
