Digital & Technology Solutions Professional - Ageas

  • Location: Eastleigh
  • Salary: £22,000 per annum

A Digital & Technology Solutions Professional provides technology-enabled solutions to internal and/or external customers in a range of areas including software, business and systems analysis, cyber security, data analysis and network infrastructure. They implement technology solutions that enable businesses to develop new products and services and to increase an organisations productivity using digital technologies. They are self-assured, knowledgeable, and self-supporting. The occupation is based upon a core set of outcomes that will be supplemented by one of five specialism areas.

Our apprentices will rotate through different areas of the IT function during the first 3 years before selecting their specialism: Development, Data, Testing, Business Analysis, Information Security, Change (Project Mgt), Infra & Operations and Vendor Management.

Technology Apprenticeship – J.P. Morgan

Earn your degree while working in our technology business alongside our industry experts. The four-year degree apprenticeship program offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of technology within financial services and the chance to obtain a full honours degree in Digital and Technology Solutions from our training provider University of Exeter combined with valuable work experience at our London or Bournemouth offices.

The first year will be general studies and after that you’ll move into a specialism: Software Engineering, Network engineering, Cybersecurity, Data analytics, Business Analysis or IT Consultancy.

Software engineers work on enhancements and upgrades to our existing software and develop new applications as part of an agile team. You may write and review code while test applications. Our cybersecurity team is responsible for the security of our data, our clients’ information and our systems. They rigorously test for vulnerabilities and run simulations to find areas where we can improve. In data analytics, you’ll work on solving problems using big data, to search for insights and look for patterns that we can use to improve our products and services. In IT Consultancy your work on various projects to enhance and develop technology for the firm. You could also work on cloud based platforms, servers and other infrastructure, monitoring it for problems and resolving issues focusing on software, network or data side of the technology.
