University of Exeter Postgraduate Taught Scholarships 2026/27 for Vietnam *September 2026 entry (Round 1)*
About the award
The University of Exeter is offering scholarships worth £5,000 to international students from Vietnam enrolling on an eligible Postgraduate Taught (Masters) programme in September 2026.
These scholarships help make sure aspiring students from this country can pursue their chosen taught Masters degree and take their place in our thriving university community. Here, students will develop their academic skills for the future and contribute to a diverse student experience.

Awards are being offered for September 2026 entry by the following departments:
Environment, Science and Economy
- Computer Science
- Earth and Environmental Science
- Ecology and Conservation

- Finance and Accounting
- Geography
- Management
- Mathematics and Statistics
- Physics and Astronomy
- Biosciences
- Clinical and Biomedical Sciences
- Health and Care Professions
- Health and Community Sciences
- Psychology
- Public Health and Sports Sciences
Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
- Arab and Islamic Studies
- Archaeology and History
- Classics, Ancient History, Religion and Theology
- Communications, Drama and Film
- English and Creative Writing
- Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies
- Law School
- School of Education
- Social and Political Sciences, Philosophy and Anthropology
These scholarships are available for all campus-based Masters programmes in the above areas, excluding the following ineligible programmes: One Planet MBA; MA International Film Business; MSc Island Biodiversity and Conservation; Clinical Psychology programmes delivered by Clinical Education, Development and Research (CEDAR); DEdPsych Educational Child and Community Psychology; Master of Public Administration (MPA) with Applied Study; Law programmes delivered by the University of Law, MA Law (SQE1), MA Law (Conversion), LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1&2), SQE Preparation Courses); Graduate Law LLB; MiPDAL Dual Masters in Intellectual Property Law; Postgraduate Certificates; Postgraduate Diplomas; Degree Apprenticeships. Fully online or distance learning programmes are also not eligible.
Entry requirements
These awards are available to applicants who:
- are a citizen/passport holder of Vietnam and therefore classed as an International student for fees purposes;
- hold an offer to study an eligible Masters programme at the University of Exeter beginning in the 2026/27 academic year.
And will be received by those who go on to:
- meet the conditions of that offer as set out in their offer letter, including paying a tuition fees deposit;
- enrol on that programme in 2026/27.

This scholarship will be allocated automatically to eligible applicants applying for entry in the 2026/27 academic year. A separate application is not required.
These scholarships are awarded as a reduction in the tuition fees for the first year of study. They are not recurrent for subsequent years of study. This award can be combined with an Exeter Excellence Scholarship 2026/27 - Postgraduate Taught award to a maximum award value of £10,000.
