Law

Build legal insight alongside your main degree with the “with Proficiency in Law” pathway, delivered by the Law School at our Penryn Campus in Cornwall.
Choose from modules including Legal Foundations, Environmental Law, Criminal Law and Corporate Law, choose modules to strengthen your core subject or explore a new area of interest.
You’ll sharpen your analytical thinking and argument skills, engaging with real legal sources such as treaties, statutes and court judgments, guided by research-active academics and former practising lawyers.
Pass at least 60 credits and “with Proficiency in Law” will be formally recognised in your degree title.
The 2025/26 cohort at Penryn is the last to be eligible to follow this pathway. This means that students entering their second or third year in 2026/27 can select WPi Law modules as the program 'teaches out'. This pathway will not be available for any new students joining us for their first year in 2026/27.
