The Sustainable Solutions Pathway equips you to understand and address complex sustainability challenges through applied, real-world learning, helping you turn knowledge into meaningful action.

You’ll develop systems and critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving and professional communication skills through challenge-based projects, stakeholder engagement and ‘living lab’ experiences. Throughout the modules, you’ll also build the confidence to analyse sustainability issues, innovate responsibly, and communicate the value of sustainable solutions in a range of contexts.

Through project work and portfolio development, the pathway supports you to recognise, reflect on and articulate your skills -preparing you to contribute to sustainability transitions and play an active role in shaping a positive future for all.

Module content:

Future Skills Pathways consist of 60 credits. You will study modules equivalent to 30 credits in year 2 of your degree and 30 credits in your final year. All modules are compulsory.
