One Planet MBA careers programme

The programme will kick-start your personal transformation process by exposing you to the wide-ranging career development resources at your disposal, whilst developing self-reflection on your personal competencies and experiences.

We provide timetabled in-class sessions, group exploration and learning, time for reflection and deeper understanding, and workshops. Workshops are delivered by career-change professionals, including sector specialists focused on growing your expertise in internationalisation and employability, helping you decide where you want to take your One Planet MBA.

Your MBA Consultancy Project will be a key piece of the jigsaw enabling you to move from your pre-MBA role, organisation or sector onto your new career path. Your Careers Consultant will help ensure that your Consultancy Project supports your career aspirations.

Our Meet the Alumni Sessions, panel events and our wider university offering provide opportunities to engage and connect with like-minded industry professionals in person and online.

“As a part of the course, I received continuous support for my career development. I connected with our Career Coach in the first week of the programme, and this connection lasted even after I graduated. Creating a career plan and executing it with the support of our Career Coach was a crucial part of my getting my dream job.”

Komal, Consultant, Digital Advisory – Avanade, London.

Work with global organisations

You will benefit from our strong links and partnerships with a range of progressive organisations, working closely with them on Corporate Challenges and Consultancy Projects throughout the year.

Each student can choose a project with an organisation that will help to enhance their future career in areas such as entrepreneurship, strategy, innovation, marketing, international business, sustainability, finance and general business.

The One Planet MBA’s corporate partners include some of the world’s most enlightened NGOs, start-ups and global brands who place purposeful leadership, sustainability and innovation at the heart of their business strategies.

Our corporate partners work alongside the One Planet MBA's leading teaching team to co-deliver a number of modules, support and mentor students, and help perfect interview skills. They also provide opportunities to address their company's real-life business challenges through assignments, case study analysis and projects.

At the heart of One Planet MBA is the Business Support Group, a panel of organisational leaders looking at some of the most pressing issues facing business to ensure relevance to the programme.
