Module description

To develop a mine project, it is essential to provide infrastructure and services to support the efficient development of the operation. This module will introduce you to management of important resources such as energy, water, transport and infrastructure requirements for development of both a surface and/or underground mining operation. You will also develop your understanding of socio-environmental responsibilities, sustainable development, mining permits and legislation, environmental impact and safety risk management related to minerals extraction. You will also develop knowledge of ventilation, airflow, underground hazards and their amelioration.
