Module description
This module provides you with key knowledge of technologies and processes for mineral processing and hydrometallurgy for a range of important metalliferous and industrial mineral deposits. design and monitoring of tailings dams. It will provide you with essential understanding of key processes downstream of ore extraction. The module complements existing knowledge about the sustainable extraction of primary resources. Techniques presented in this module may also be applied to beneficiation and management of secondary resources. You will also develop an understanding of industrial recycling systems and the importance of a sustainable circular economy.
