Module description
In this challenge project, you will be presented with a project brief and you and your team will develop a solution that effectively addresses a renewable energy engineering challenge. The team approach should demonstrate the application and development of fundamental engineering knowledge through a range of activities which could include concept design, impact and risk analysis, feasibility studies, and project management. The project should be set in the context of Conceiving, Designing, Implementing, and Operating engineering activities (CDIO) and all phases of the CDIO approach should be effectively demonstrated. In this project, lectures only serve as a starting point, signposting you in the right direction. To excel in this module, you will need to demonstrate initiative and drive to complete independent study and research and explore beyond what is discussed in lectures.
