Module description
In this module you will develop your skills in health-related data science. Through our NHS partners, you will develop insights into the practical aspects of data analytics and how these methods can be directly applied to improve health services. You will learn a range of operational research techniques such as information visualisation to communicate outputs, geographic location analysis, and computer simulation to model and test alternative scenarios of care (e.g. the effects of adding an extra nurse to an emergency department). Programming will be in Python so you will use your background skills and those reinforced in the earlier modules.
