Module description
In an era of shifting capital markets, understanding how private equity drives value creation versus public ownership is critical for tomorrow’s business leaders. The course explores the strategic issues facing private equity owned companies in a dynamic and competitive environment, including innovation, differentiation, pricing, route-to-market, customer development, and globalization. The course also covers the similarities and differences of operating a company in a private equity and public market structure. Emphasis will be placed on evaluating businesses and deals in terms of key risks and success factors, operating a company under a private equity versus public ownership, and ultimately exiting through a sale or initial public offering.
