Information
This knowledge exchange workshop will provide an overview of the waste management and recycling industry for plastics and composite materials. It aims to empower delegates by:
- Learning the processes used to recycle thermoplastics, thermosets and composites
- Discussing British Plastics Federation figures summarising the European recycling industry
- Gaining insight into the waste management best practice of other companies
- Considering how to take the information exchanged and improve your company’s waste management strategy
The event is presented by the Centre for Alternative Materials and Remanufacturing Technologies (CALMARE) at the University of Exeter’s College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences (CEMPS).
The delegate costs are being met by the EU (through State Aid Funding to your company), so we can offer this at no charge to eligible SMEs* or sole traders. This will form part of an ERDF-funded Business Assist. Places are limited to 12; early booking is recommended.
*Small-Medium sized business registered in Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset or Wiltshire; turnover of <€50 million per annum; <250 employees; received <€200,000 of de Minimis State Aid in last 3 years.
