Dr Narelle Cox from LaTrobe University, Australia, will be giving a seminar titled: "Physical activity promotion for patients with Cystic Fibrosis".

Dr Cox's background is as a paediatric (and adult) physiotherapist for individuals with Cystic Fibrosis and other chronic respiratory disorders.  Her research interests revolve around exercise testing and physical activity participation and promotion for these populations - including investigating the use of field exercise tests for children with CF; and more recently investigating the relationship between  physical activity participation and long-term clinical outcomes in adults with CF, as well as the use of telemedicine applications for the assessment of exercise tolerance and promotion of activity. Dr Cox is also the first author of a recent Cochrane Review (2013) on Interventions for promoting physical activity in people with cystic fibrosis.
