Event details

Join alumni in Beijing for an Employability Insight event. The event aims to share valuable, professional experience of senior alumni with young alumni of University of Exeter, whilst strengthening the alumni base in Beijing area. The Beijing Chapter has invited two senior alumni from the fields of Finance and Law – Mr. Raymond Yan Fei and Mr. Haichao Zong – to discuss their respective experience after Exeter (see below for a detailed description of presenters). You will have the opportunity to ask questions, network and meet others.

The event will take place at the Leader Club, Shangdongsheji Avenue, Jiangtai West Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China on Saturday 24 October from 14:00-17:00 and is free of charge to attend. Description of the alumni presenters:

Finance Careers in China

Mr Raymond Yan Fei graduated in 2007 from Exeter Business School. He founded Dehong Capital, a VC/angel investment firm which focuses in areas such as, new energy, new material, healthcare machines, media and culture, consumer-based IT, TMT and cutting-edge manufacturing.

The Chinese Legal Profession

Mr Haichao Zong graduated in 2003 from Exeter Law School with a Master degree in International Commercial Law. He is now Partner at Zhong Yin Law Firm. His expertise includes: corporate law, FDI regulations, outbound investment regulations from China, international trade law, anti-monopoly law, international tax planning, legal issues of WTO regulations, real estate law, contract law, guarantee law, and financial regulations. He provides both specialized and comprehensive legal services in the abovementioned areas for domestic and international clients, including state-owned enterprises in China and listed companies abroad.
