Full event details are available on the New-York Historical Society website.

Synopsis: In 1917, the rising global tensions caused by the First World War culminated in the entrance of the U.S. into the conflict and the eruption of the Russian Revolution. In commemoration of the centennial of these tumultuous events, historian Jeremy Black illuminates the world leaders who reshaped the global landscape – including Wood-row Wilson, Kaiser Wilhelm II, and Vladimir Lenin – and reveals how the Great War ushered in the birth of the modern age and fore-shadowed an even greater conflict to come.
