Event details
This session will address constructive ways to approach writing the literature review for your thesis. It will consider what you need to do before you begin to write in terms of organising and structuring your reading into a plan for your literature review. We will look at ways to adopt a critical stance in your writing and to avoid being descriptive. Finally, the workshop will examine how to develop a strong line of argument through your chapter, with well-signposted markers along the way.
Level: For early to mid-stage research students, and those currently writing a literature review
