The ongoing crisis in Ukraine raises several difficult questions of international law and strategy, ranging from the principle of self-determination to the prohibition of the use of force in international relations. The aim of this seminar is to take stock by providing an overview of the main international legal and strategic aspects of the Ukrainian crisis.
Dr Tamás Hoffmann (Corvinus University of Budapest) and Dr Daniel Steed (University of Exeter) will offer their thoughts on the events in Ukraine, followed by a discussion.
