EUC Exeter Branch: RAMM Museum Visit

Visit to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery followed by lunch at the City Gate Hotel

The EUC is a friendly club for alumni, graduates and retired staff of Exeter University and their families. As well as those who have studied or worked on the Streatham Campus, this also includes St Lukes and the Tremough Campus, the former Camborne School of Mines, the Medical School and the (pre 1955) University College of the South West of England.

Event details

Take a conducted tour round the museum and its exhibits, in the company of an experienced guide. This one hour tour shows the great diversity of what the galleries have to offer following the recent expansion.

After the tour we hope you will join us for lunch in the City Gate Hotel from 12.30pm, in the usual space to the right of the front door. All club members are welcome at this event but a conducted tour of the galleries can only take a maximum of 15 people.

To book
Please book by telephone with Louise (01884 242606) by Wednesday 14 January 2015 and indicate what you want to do: an independent museum visit, a conducted tour and/or lunch at the City Gate.

Cost: £3 per person. Museum entry is free.

To join the tour
Make your way to the RAMM in Queen Street, allowing time to use the stairs, the lift or the new entrance at the rear (by the old Gandy Street building, now called the Phoenix) so you are ready to start the tour at 11.00am by the Garden Entrance.

Further details of forthcoming Exeter Branch events can be found on the branch's website. To find out about membership and joining the club, please contact the Secretary, Mike Aspray at eucexeterbranch@gmail.com.
