Qaisra Khan is the Project Curator, in the Department of Middle East, at the British Museum and has over the last two years been working on the exhibition Hajj: Journey to the heart of Islam, which is the first of its kind. After graduating in Law at Cambridge University and obtaining an MPhil in Oriental Studies, she worked at Deloitte for five years, after which she worked at Christies Auctioneers. In 2007 she moved to Doha to work at the Museum of Islamic Art (which opened in 2008). She is helping to co-curate the Hajj exhibition which closes on the 15th of April 2012.
