Charity Cake Sale

On 9 September 2017, Jo Morrison, Web Officer in the Digital Team, will be walking 50k to raise money for Clic Sargent.

Jo said "A friend's son was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2016 aged just 16 and the Clic Sargent charity have been fantastic in supporting Abbey and her whole family. Although Fraser still has a way to go in his treatment, he is doing well and Abbey wanted to give something back to the charity that helped her so much.  So Abbey easily persuaded 20 of her friends to join her in the 50k trek!"

"I signed up for the challenge in January and then promptly broke my leg in February! So I havent been training as much as the rest of the team but the leg is now fine so I am ready to face the Thames Path Challenge"

Jo will also be holding a cake sale on Friday 4 August 11:30-13:30 in the main reception with all proceeds going towards the team fundraising pot.
