Event details
Open Access Week is an annual global event to broaden awareness and understanding of open access to scholarly research results. The Open Research Team based in the Library have prepared a programme of activities to mark this year’s theme: “Open for whom? Equity in Open Knowledge”. This year we are launching the customised DMPonline, a flexible tool to prepare data management plans.
All events are free and open to all current University of Exeter staff and students.
Research Ethics and Data Sharing
What are the benefits of sharing your data? What are the ethical and data protection principles that you should consider?
Join this session to have these questions answered with Gail Seymour (Research Ethics and Governance) and Chris Tibbs (Open Research). This session will cover the importance of data sharing, along with providing an overview of the ethical principles and data protection. There will also be the opportunity to talk with other researchers about how they implement good practice in data sharing and ethics.
