Apply for postgraduate study
How to apply
Applying online for a postgraduate programme
If you are a current Exeter undergraduate applying for a taught postgraduate programme, please apply using our Fast Track system.
As part of the online application, you will have the option to upload your supporting documents online to send to us electronically with your application. This option makes the application process much quicker, as we are able to make a faster decision on your application and it also saves you time and money in posting the documents to us. Full guidance on how to do this is given when applying online. If you are unable to upload your documents you should scan and email them to pg-ad@exeter.ac.uk (Streatham and St Luke's based programmes); pgadmissions-cornwall@exeter.ac.uk (Cornwall Campus based programmes). Alternatively you can post them to us. Address details can be found on our Contact us page.
Please ensure that if you are emailing or posting your supporting documents to us that you include your Exeter reference number, name and programme applied for.
How do I apply online?
To access the online application form, select the relevant degree programme page via the index of taught programmes or research degrees. Links to the application form are found in the 'Apply online' section of each programme entry, which you can find in the right-hand navigation on each programme page.
Please ensure you have checked the entry requirements, which are also found on the right-hand navigation of the programme webpage, before completing your application. MPhil/PhD applicants are encouraged to view our online resource; Considering a UK PhD? Your Next Steps which helps explain what it is like to study for a PhD in the UK and the skills required before submitting an application. You may also wish to visit the Department's website or contact them for further information regarding your eligibility.
