Nomination of Boards of Examiners

Boards of Examiners for degrees by research will usually consist of one Internal and one External Examiner.

Nomination of your Board of Examiners must be made by your supervisor via MyPGR.

Nominations should be made at least three months before the submission of your thesis/dissertation. If you are in the final stages of writing up and your examiners have not yet been appointed please contact your Supervisor immediately.

Nominations must be confirmed by the Internal Examiner(s), the Non-Examining Independent Chair (if one is required) and the Dean of College or Nominated Authority, before it is submitted for final approval by the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Research.
