Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

The natural beauty of the place and the excellent reputation of the school.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

I was in the Golf and Football team, and also was the President of the Malaysian Society.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Be patient, adaptive and realise the bigger picture of your long career. 

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Be constantly aware of what goes on around the world, till the point you're able to understand all perspectives and able to read between the lines.

What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I finished my bar and completed my pupillage. Joined EY as a Strategy Consultant and started my own Renewable Energy Firm in 2019. Joined Green Carbon Technologies as a Manager handling the strategy of the production of Green Graphene. 

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I love the creative excitement of impacting and helping the world.

What are your plans for the future?

Hopefully, my company will be the largest renewable energy company in South East Asia within the next 2 years while also making an impact to the global green energy narrative.
