BUTEX Scholarship 

Each year BUTEX awards a number of scholarships to students studying abroad for either a semester or a whole academic year.

The value of each scholarship is £500 and it will be paid to the winners once they have arrived and registered at their host university.

BUTEX will also make a special award in honour of our late Treasurer, the Tony Emmerson Award. This scholarship will be awarded in the event of an American Studies student being successful in the competition. This award will also be for £500.

Applications for students studying abroad during academic year 2019/20 are now being accepted and the deadline for all applications will be the 15th June 2019.

Mrs Bessie Rook Memorial Scholarship (France & Germany only)

The Bessie Rook Memorial Travel Scholarships are awarded to students who will be studying abroad in Germany and/or French-speaking countries.  For the most up-to-date information please see: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/studying/funding/current/rook/

Languages for World Peace & Understanding Scholarship (Spanish- and French-speaking countries)

The Languages for World Peace and Understanding Scholarship is worth £500 and is awarded each year to a student who will be undertaking a study abroad year in a Spanish- or French-speaking country. QS moveON Stand Out Scholarship

In partnership with Universities UK International (UUKi), QS MoveON is proud to announce the Stand Out scholarship. This is a new scholarship exclusively for student exchange between UK and EU universities during the calendar year 2019 and 2020.
