Details

The Bolashak Scholarship covers full tuition fees and living costs for Kazakh nationals offered a place to study at Masters or PhD in one of the following subjects at the University of Exeter: Accounting and Finance; Anthropology; Archaeology; Business and Management Studies; Foreign Languages; Geography; Geography and Environmental Science; Geology; History, Philosophy and Theology, Divinity and Religious Studies; Materials Technology; Mineral and Mining Engineering; Politics; Psychology; Social Policy; Sociology; Sport Science; Sports-Related Subjects.

The scholarship consists of a full tuition fee waiver in addition to monthly financial stipend to cover living expenses. For 2017 entry this amounted to approximately £1,400 per month for food and accommodation plus £660 book allowance per year in addition to travel costs. Funding for 2018 is to be determined by the Kazakh Ministry of Education.

A condition of conferal is employment within a Kazakh government post following graduation.
