Sarah Matthews-DeMers

Appointed Independent Member in August 2023

Sarah is currently Chief Financial Officer at AB Dynamics PLC, an AIM-listed engineering company supplying advanced testing, simulation and measurement products to the automotive market.

She has significant experience in small-mid cap listed manufacturing businesses and has delivered and implemented strategic reviews, acquisitions, operational improvements, commercial reviews and debt refinancing.

Prior to her current role as Chief Financial Officer at AB Dynamics PLC, Sarah has previously served as Group Finance Director (Carclo PLC, 2018 – 2019); Director of Strategy and Investor Relations (Rotork PLC, 2017 -2018); and Deputy Group Finance Director (Avon Rubber PLC, 2015 – 2017). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and spent the beginning of her career (1997 -2011) at PwC in Bristol and London.

She is an alumna of the University (BA, Hons Accountancy Studies).
