In this interactive workshop for postgraduate researchers, you will learn how to structure and write a compelling research blog for a general audience. After 60 minutes of discussion and activities, there will be a 30-minute concentrated writing session. By the end, you will have a brand-new blog entry well underway – and plenty of ideas for where to share it.

As postgraduate researchers, we are encouraged to develop our skills in public engagement - but it can be hard to know where to start. In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to structure and write a compelling research blog for a general audience. After 60 minutes of discussion and activities, there will be a 30-minute concentrated writing session. By the end, you will have a brand-new blog entry well underway – and plenty of ideas for where to share it.

- Plan and structure a blog entry to engage the public with your research
- Understand the landscape of sharing public engagement content
- Create an action plan to share your blog
