Tuition fees for international students

To gain a UK student visa, applicants must show that they have enough funds for both academic costs and living expenses. Our offer letters state the annual tuition fee and a monthly allowance for living expenses. Information on current fees for international students are available on our main study websites:
Search for a course
Please note that the prices listed are subject to change as we work to ensure an outstanding student experience. Our current policy is to increase tuition fees in each year of study. We will confirm our fees and any changes that will apply during your course on our student fees page.
If we make you an offer of a place, we will confirm your fees in writing via email. For those studying for more than one year, our fees are expected to increase modestly in line with Consumer Price Inflation measured in December each year. More information can be found on our Student Finance webpages.
Living costs for international students
In addition to the cost of tuition fees, when you apply for your visa you will also need to provide evidence that you can afford living expenses of at least £1,023 per month for 9 months, i.e. a minimum of £9,207. The actual amount spent may differ according to your needs; you can find out more on our Cost of Living for students webpages as well as our International Students' Guide and the Accommodation website.
These costs are an estimate and actual costs will vary according to your type of accommodation and lifestyle. For further details of the cost of living in the South West, please see the International Students’ Guide and the Accommodation website.
Funding and scholarships
Some departments provide partial scholarships to international students and you are advised to check our funding and scholarships for international students information.
The Career Zone, our on-campus job shop in Exeter and Cornwall, provides assistance with finding part-time work where this is permissible.
