- A 2.5 hour slot once each term for you to focus on writing in preparation for your fellowship application.
- We suggest that you start attending these sessions as part of your ‘thinking a year ahead’ of putting in an application
- It provides dedicated time for writing and is not an advice session
- This is run by the Research, Development and Partnerships Team

- Fellowship applications will be reviewed by three reviewers.
- One reviewer will be a subject specialist, and one will be a funder specialist
- Review will be of: Fellowship Proposal (Vision and Approach), Applicant Capability to Deliver, Career Development, Fit for Call (Career Stage)
- Your Pre-Award Liaison will trigger the process for you when your work is ready for peer review

To apply for a fellowship with us you will need to identify a University of Exeter academic champion. If you are external to Exeter and don’t have contact with an academic, please use the Find a University of Exeter expert tool. Your application will also be supported by Research Services, who provide support throughout the funding application process, helping with costing, approvals, funder requirements, and proposal submission.
