Mandatory tasks
- Complete your course induction online
- Activate your IT account (see Welcome email)
- Complete online registration with the University
- Read the International Student information on when you arrive
- Prepare and submit your student visa application
- Apply for your Unicard (see Welcome email)
- Read up on healthcare in the UK
- Check your vaccinations are up to date
- Complete Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training after you have activated your IT account

- Contact the Accessibility Team for any additional support or to set up an Individual Learning Plan
- Check out the Res Life team
- Plan your travel to University
- Join our Facebook group to find other new students and learn about life as a student in Cornwall
- Familiarise yourself with the International Student Welcome Programme

- Register with a Doctors' Surgery
- Attend the SU (Students’ Union) Welcome events
- Attend English Language Skills Sessions
- Come along to our Intercultural Cafe and meet other international students
- Learn about study abroad opportunities
- Find out about support services, like the Student Helpdesk

Starting term

- If you haven't already, please complete Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and consent training
- If you haven't already complete International Student Clearance
- If you haven't already complete your pre-arrival course induction (emailed in September)
- If you haven't already Activate Multi-Factor Authentication & Self Service Password Reset on your IT Account
