Broad research specialisms:
I am a geoscientist with research interests in the effects of high-frequency climate changes on the sedimentary systems of glacial and coastal environments. I have conducted research throughout the British Isles and in North America. Research areas include: subglacial and glaciomarine environments, sand dune morphodynamics and sediment partitioning, estuaries, sea-level and climate change over the last 20,000 years, geological conservation, geoarchaeology, marine geophysics, landscape management, and teaching pedagogy. I have published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
