About this course:

This course introduces the principles of the ergonomic approach to lifting and handling operations.

As well as the theory element there is also a practical session where you will rehearse various good handling techniques.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand the importance of, the correct lifting and handling technique.

- Correctly conduct lifting and handling techniques.

Who should attend this course:

Staff for whom manual handling (lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling) forms a significant part of their work.

This course is also appropriate for managers of staff who have manual handling tasks.

This course is mandatory for staff that perform manual handling tasks on a regular basis.
