We are delighted to invite you to the next Language and Education Network (LEN) Lounge on Monday 9th February 1pm-2.30pm. We have lined up 4 more excellent speakers who are former MEd TESOL students in the School of Education. They will be presenting 'lightening talks' (5 minutes each) about their Dissertation projects.

  • Ahsan Chandio – Exploring English Language Teachers’ Environmental Beliefs and Their Influence on Pedagogical Practices: A Study of Green Themes in Public Higher Secondary EFL Textbooks in Sindh, Pakistan.
  • Phuong Thao Le Le (Tracy) – Building High-Frequency Business Word Lists: A Corpus-Based Approach. 
  • Manuel Bueno Caro  – Perceptions on the implementation of English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP) for the International Relations (IR) Undergraduate Programme.
  • Melusi Ncube  – Exploring pre-service teachers' perceptions of the use of learners' full linguistic repertoires in English Language Teaching (ELT) in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. 

Please join us online to engage in cutting-edge research in the field of language and education and to ask our speakers questions about their work. As speakers are located in various parts of the world, this LEN Lounge will be online. Please join on the following link:
