Kenyon College

Kenyon College is a leading U.S. Liberal Arts College with a proud history of academic excellence, a close-knit community and more than fifty majors covering writing, humanities, fine arts and more. The University of Exeter is proud to have partnered with Kenyon for fifty years and counting through our unique Kenyon-Exeter Study Abroad Programme, inviting Kenyon students to join Exeter’s Department of English and Creative Writing, led by a Resident Director, to undertake an enriching undergraduate study abroad experience as part of their Kenyon Bachelor’s programme.

In 2025, we were proud to expand our partnership with Kenyon with a new Master’s Progression Programme, inviting Kenyon graduates from all disciplines to take up an Exeter Master’s degree in any discipline across our the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS).

Kenyon students who meet entry criteria for their chosen MA programme in the HASS Faculty at Exeter will be granted a dedicated scholarship award to support their study. This dedicated partnership scholarship may be combined with other scholarship awards made by Exeter, though applicants are asked to enquire directly for conditions on maximum award values.

At Exeter, we are excited to grow our Kenyon community through this dedicated pathway, complementing our long-established Study Abroad programme. As a Russell Group institution in the beautiful South West of England, and rated as the Top University in the South of England for our sports facilities, we provide Kenyon graduates with exceptional opportunities to pursue a top-tier postgraduate degree while also providing excellent recreational and competitive sports opportunities to students of one of America’s standout sports colleges. In joining Exeter for Master’s study, students will also broaden their international outlook and enjoy the region’s rich cultural life and outdoor pursuits.
